Sophie McMurray is an anti-corruption and compliance specialist.

She is a lawyer with a Masters in International Law and recently commenced an Executive MBA at INSEAD in Singapore.

Sophie helps organisations achieve their strategic and business objectives through: aligning culture, strategy and compliance developing compliance frameworks that help to prevent, detect and respond to bribery and corruption; and facilitating cross-border compliance.

Sophie is the former Anti-Corruption Officer and Head of Compliance at Deloitte. She was also a senior lawyer at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), lectured International Law at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and has worked throughout South East Asia, Southern Africa and in the United Kingdom helping organisations comply with obligations in their overseas operations.

Sophie has provided extensive training and has presented at various conferences and published thought leadership on anti-bribery and corruption and compliance more generally. She is now collaborating with GRC Solutions and other associates to transform compliance into a business solution that helps organisations achieve their strategic and business objectives in a socially responsible way.
